Studio
We are not a website production line.
FunctionalCode is a small web studio where design and implementation stay close together. Fewer things get lost between a Figma file and the finished website.
Fewer people in the middle
You do not need a separate person to translate every design decision into development language. Keeping those stages close makes communication faster and decisions clearer.
We do not start with the stack
First we work out how the website needs to behave and how it will be maintained. WordPress, Astro, WooCommerce or something else comes after that.
A small studio, led directly
I run FunctionalCode directly and work across website design, frontend and WordPress. That keeps decisions from disappearing between Figma and implementation. When a project needs another specialist, I bring in the right person rather than pretending every skill sits inside one permanent team.

Simple does not mean generic
We do not add effects just to make a page feel busy. Character can come from typography, layout, pacing and a few well-made details.
